Once Upon A Time Theory

If you watch the show, chances are you've already got some theories. After watching tonight's episode, I've got a more definite theory and I'm feeling pretty fucking confident about it.

I knew from jump that there was something weird about Rumplestiltstkin always wanting to take children. Snow White's daughter, Cinderella's daughter. Tonight's episode made more sense of it in that he only had his son before he unknowingly absorbed the powers of the Dark One. When his son realized what he had become, he wasn't exactly thrilled, and though they didn't show it (or have yet to show it), he probably ran the fuck out of there.

Anyway, it's also been obvious that Mr. Gold has been leaving all sorts of hints for the characters to try and jog their memory and make them realize who they really are, so clearly, he wants everyone to get back to the Fairy Tale World.

This makes Rumplestiltskin/ Mr. Gold more of an enemy to Regina/ the Queen, and more of an ally to Emma and them BUT, it is incredibly clear that he just works for himself. He doesn't see things in terms of good or bad, he just works according to his own intentions and if those actions happen to fall in a good or bad category, then so be it.
That's not what concerns him. What concerns him is his son.

He even said it himself that without his son, he was nothing. Alone. Dust. And knowing that his son probably didn't stick around for very long, he became desperate, hence the reason why he was always trying to take the children of others!

Okay, so that's solved. But why would he want everyone to remember who they really are? Why would he want them to get back to the Fairy Tale World? To spite the Queen?

Well, yes, that's part of it, but it's not the main reason.

He told Emma that she was a desperate soul. He knows that she would do anything for her son. We all know that he is highly manipulative. Don't you think that he would be able to manipulate her into killing him with the dagger once they get back into the Fairy Tale World?

I mean, shit, once she realizes that he's the one who gave the Queen the spell, that he's the one who wanted to take her from her mother, then Emma's gonna bust a cap in his ass.

Even if that seems too far fetched, considering she saved Regina from a fire, don't forget: Emma still owes him a favour. She would GLADLY kill him if he asked her. And how do you think she's going to do it?

WITH THE DAGGER!!!

Hence, Emma's real enemy isn't the Queen: it's Rumplestiltskin. You think the writers would make the plot as easy as just getting into the Fairy Tale World and that would be that? Bitch, please! We're dealing with the same people who were involved with "LOST". Shit ain't gonna be a simple walk in the jungle!
